What type of equipment do you use to photograph weddings?
We use professional quality Canon digital SLR cameras with a wide range of lenses suitable for any type of setting. We always have at least two full camera setups at every wedding, just in case anything goes wrong with one camera, there is always a back-up
What are your payment terms?
One third of the package price is to be paid at the time of booking our service.
The second third of the package price is to be paid at least two months before the wedding date.
The final third is to be paid at the time of ordering your prints and/or album.
Do you offer a guarantee?
Yes, after your wedding we will sit down together to choose which photographs you want printed and to plan your album. If you are not happy with your photographs, we will gladly offer you a full refund.
What style of wedding photography do you take?
This really depends on what each couple wants, but usually we provide a combination of traditional formal photographs, as well as candid / photojournalistic photographs.
Why do you use digital photography? Some other photographers have told me not to use digital, as the quality is not good enough.
The quality of the professional digital SLR cameras available today is so good that there is no difference in the quality of the final prints produced, compared to a 35mm film camera. There are however, some huge advantages of using digital:
- We don't have to buy film and pay to have it processed, and we don't need to print hundreds of proofs for you to view to decide which photographs you actually want to buy. We only print the pictures that you actually want. This saves us money and we pass those savings on to you.
- We are not limited in how many pictures we take by the size or number of films. This means we can take many more photographs of your special day, which increases the number of really great shots for your final album.
- There is no chance of us running out of film at a critical moment of your wedding and missing that once in a lifetime special moment because we were too busy changing films.
We are getting married in New Zealand, but we live overseas.
That is no problem at all. We can make all of the arrangements by email, phone or fax - just as easily as if you were living here.
If you will be staying in New Zealand for a while after the wedding, we can prioritise your album design to try to get your album finished before you go back home.
Even if you are leaving New Zealand straight after the wedding, we can plan your album using our Photojunction album planning software and email you a slideshow of the album layout for your approval. Then, when everything is ready, we will courier your album to you anywhere in the world.
